Somebody Kill Me Now
This is one of those days when I feel like repeatedly banging my head against a wall until blood starts coming out of my ear. My budget is completely screwed because my boss is sitting on my salary, apparently not concerned that I have to borrow an egg from my mother just to tide me over for one freaking meal, nobody loves me except my cat (and it's not even human), it's all but confirmed that I've just lost at the Palanca awards, and I'm still walking like I have a prosthetic foot. The house is filthy, my clothes are all old and ugly, my gray hair is showing, and I'm turning thirty fricking six in less than two months. It doesn't really help that I know that some people have it worse. Honestly.

Ha?! Lumabas na ba'ng Palanca?
ReplyDeleteSo you're in a blue mood, eh? I think that's what happens when you're on a tight budget, para bang humahabol ang ibang pang-inis. Ride it out na lang, since you said it won't matter that other people have worse lives than you. That's what you said to me, when I was doing the blue, blue my world is blue thing, 'di ba. Matatapos din iyan.
hang in there, 'tol, bad times come in waves as well. Just have to ride it til the next one comes along. Sometimes I just want to say kiss my ass, bad luck, it can't rain everyday.
ReplyDeleteI'll get you something snazzy from the Apple store for your birthday.
Ren - Yup, they've sent out the invites to the winners. If you haven't received a package from the CPMA by this time, it means you've lost (and not invited to a free dinner).
ReplyDeleteAnd yup, I am riding out the bad spell as best as I can. Went to see "Blades of Glory" with Effie. Cracked both of us up with nonstop crotch jokes, and I think I may be in love with Jon Heder.
Tots - Nice to hear from you! Hay, the blues the blues...ano nga ba ang pwede gawin kundi sakyan nalang. I think I'll be fine after a couple of days of indulging my angst. Sa ngayon e binibingi ko ang sarili ko sa pagsa-sound trip ng maingay na kanta.
Ooooh, something snazzy for me berdey? Looking forward to it!
A, ganoon ba. Well, I guess we should push through with that librehan, just the same! Better luck next year!
ReplyDeleteI think the Apple on your birthday thing is a great way to get rid of the angst, don't you think? Hay, sarap naman :)
gusto mo i-shopping kita ng clothesesss??
ReplyDeleteSyaks, Tita Ana, nakakahiya naman sa inyo kung bukod sa samting isnazzy from the Apple store e may kasama pang clotheseseseses. Nahimasmasan na ako sa aking pagka-lokaloka, and my damit is fine once again.
ReplyDeletewe shopped for you "irregardless!!". i told toti yesterday - what can lift somebody's spirit more than lacy, candy-colored and hot knickers!
ReplyDeleteHuwow, what a blessing in the sky. I don't know how to thanks you very much!
ReplyDeleteHot knickers, eh? The! Tuloy ang ligaya!
